This book just hit the ground running and never slowed down! Flynn introduces us into a world where hounds of hell come and drag evil souls through the gates of hell and actually makes you cheer for them! I wondered how a hellhound could be one of the main characters--but it worked. She shows us the hounds going about their business of picking up an evil soul and then she throws a monkeywrench in the works. The soul belongs to the hound of hell's mate and it is pure. So everything is happening at a furious pace and that pace continues throughout the book. She makes her characters believable--she gives them little quirks that give them depth and interest. She shows how Rafe, the innocent, reacts to being in the "real" world and shows Stryker's vulnerability. Of course she also throws in some misunderstandings and an element of danger to keep things hopping. A good backstory and a promise for more to come make this a great start of a series.Product details

An interesting story line with very appealing characters. Flynn Eire has a wonderful talent for world building with heroes that are easy to love and bad guys are so very easy to hate. I'm looking forward to more of the series.
I loved this story when it was first released years ago and was disappointed to hear it would be a stand alone. I was so excited to find out Flynn Eire was re releasing this book and continuing the series. The story line is original and Stryker and Rafe are made for each other. I can't wait to find out what Flynn has in store for the next book.

Man I love this book. I loves that she used Hellhounds as shifters since there aren't many books like that. I enjoyed that we got to see some action. I also liked that there is setup for a deeper plot in the future books. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book!
Wow, this book was a packed punch of awesome. It's a great read and start of a series. It was a pick me up.
I guess you could call it light and airy.
It's not bam just in your face book one of so much you can't keep up.
But it did make me laugh several times, made me sad, and yes I might have wanted to choke someone.
